Pricing for AI Virtual Try-On
Vensa AI Virtual Try-On for Shopify is introducing subscription plans in early August 2026. Here is exactly what the plans cost, what changes for your store, and what stays free.
Why we are introducing plans
Vensa has grown fast, and a lot of shoppers are now trying your products on. We would rather be straight with you about the economics than quietly degrade the product.
Every try-on has a real cost
Each try-on image is generated by Google Vertex AI, which charges us roughly $0.8 to $0.15 per generation. Those costs scale with your traffic, not with a flat fee.
Speed and reliability you can plan around
Paid capacity lets us keep generation queues short, keep the widget fast during peak hours, and keep support response times low.
A roadmap we can actually ship
AR try-on, better garment fidelity, and deeper analytics are all on the way. Sustainable pricing is what funds them.
Plans from early August 2026
Every plan includes the full widget, all customization options, and analytics. The only difference is how many try-ons your shoppers get each month.

How additional try-ons work
A busy month should not shut your widget off, and it should never hand you a bill you did not expect.
- 1
Your included try-ons are used first
Nothing extra is charged while you are inside your plan quota.
- 2
Extra try-ons are billed one by one
Past your quota, each try-on costs $0.15 on Starter, $0.12 on Growth, or $0.10 on Pro. You only pay for what shoppers actually use.
- 3
A spending cap you control
Each plan ships with a cap per billing cycle ($30 on Starter, $50 on Growth and Pro). You can raise or lower it any time from the Billing & Plans page.
- 4
At the cap, try-ons pause
Once the cap is reached, the try-on button pauses until your next cycle starts. That is the hard ceiling on what you can be charged.
What this means for your store
Nothing changes yet
Your current plan and quota keep working exactly as they do today. No action is needed and no payment method is required.
Plans go live in the app
A Billing & Plans page appears inside Vensa in your Shopify admin. From that day, the Free plan includes 10 try-ons per month for every store, and paid plans are available if you need more.
You stay in control
Upgrade, switch, or cancel at any time from your Shopify admin. All billing is handled by Shopify and appears on your regular Shopify invoice.
To be clear about the one thing merchants ask most: from launch day the Free plan includes 10 try-ons per month for every store, including stores that installed before August. If your shoppers use more than that, a paid plan keeps the widget running all month.
Pricing FAQ
When exactly does the new pricing start?
Early August 2026. Until then your current quota keeps working as it does today, and you will see the Billing & Plans page appear inside the app when plans go live.
Do I have to pay to keep using Vensa?
No. The Free plan stays available and includes 10 try-ons per month. Paid plans are for stores that need more volume than that.
I installed before August. Does my old quota stay?
No. From launch day the Free plan is 10 try-ons per month for every store, including stores that installed earlier. If you need more volume, a paid plan is the way to keep the widget running all month.
What happens when I run out of try-ons?
On the Free plan the try-on button is paused until your quota resets at the start of your next cycle. On a paid plan you can keep going with additional try-ons, billed per try-on up to a cap you control.
How do additional try-ons work?
Your included try-ons are used first. After that, each extra try-on is billed at your plan rate ($0.15 on Starter, $0.12 on Growth, $0.10 on Pro) up to a spending cap per billing cycle. When the cap is reached, try-ons pause until the next cycle, so you never get a surprise bill.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the Billing & Plans page in your Shopify admin. Cancelling moves you back to the Free plan.
How am I charged?
Through Shopify Billing. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice, so there is no separate credit card to add and no separate account to manage.
Does this apply to WordPress and Magento?
No. This change is for the Shopify app only. WordPress and Magento continue on annual licenses with unlimited try-ons.
