AI Product Photos Setup Guide

Nothing to install on your theme. This app works entirely in your Shopify admin and writes finished images to your products.

Before you start

  • One clear photo per product. A flat lay, a hanger shot or a mannequin shot all work
  • The garment fully in frame, not cropped at the sleeves or hem
  • No theme changes. There is no app block and no app embed for this one
1

Pick or create a model

  • Open Models. Eleven models ship with the app, covering a range of genders, ages and ethnicities.
  • To build your own, click New model and set gender, body type, ethnicity and age range.
  • For a face you can reuse season after season, add reference photos to the model. The app conditions on them so the same person comes back every run.
  • Every face the app generates is also saved under Model photos, so you can pick one you already like rather than describing a new one.
2

Choose your scenes

  • Open Presets. Fifteen scenes ship with the app, grouped by what they are for: product page, lifestyle, editorial and seasonal.
  • A scene controls the background, lighting, mood, colour grade and aspect ratio.
  • Build your own with New preset when you want a specific backdrop, and tag it to a campaign so a seasonal set stays together.
  • Each scene you add to a run is a separate photo set. Two scenes on one product gives you a clean product page set and a campaign set from the same run.
3

Run your first generation

  • Open Generate. Pick your source products, or upload a garment image directly.
  • Choose one model, then one or more scenes, then your angles. The default four give a clean product gallery straight away.
  • The panel shows the arithmetic before you commit: products times scenes times angles equals images, and one image is one credit. Your remaining balance is shown next to it.
  • Pick 2K or 4K, then click Generate. The run happens in the background, so you can leave the page.
4

Review and publish

  • Open Library when the run finishes. Accept the images you want and reject the rest.
  • Publish accepted images to the product, either adding to the existing gallery or replacing it.
  • You can also skip this step: turn on Auto-publish in the Generate panel and a finished run goes straight onto its source products.
  • Published images are kept for good. Unpublished drafts are cleared after a retention window you set in Settings, 30 days by default.
5

Turn a photo into a post

  • Open Marketing Studio and pick any generated image.
  • Choose a size: square, portrait or story. Then a layout, including sale and new arrival treatments.
  • Add your headline, price and call to action, then set your brand colours and typeface.
  • Drafts are saved, so a campaign can be re-edited later rather than rebuilt from scratch.

Getting better results

  • Start with one product and the default angles. Ten free images is enough for a full gallery of a single style, which is the fastest way to judge the output.
  • The front angle is generated first and then anchors the rest of the set. That is what keeps the same model and styling across every shot, so leave Front selected.
  • A source photo on a clean background gives the model more to work with than one shot against a busy room.
  • Add a Close-up angle for anything where texture sells the product, such as knitwear or a printed fabric.
  • Scenes carry a setting for whether they may alter a print. Keep it off for graphic tees so your artwork survives the generation.
  • Annual billing takes about two months off any paid plan.
