Virtual Try-On

Create a badge

Start from one of eight ready-made badges or design your own. The preview shows it on a real swatch as you go.

Create the badge

  1. 1

    Click Create badge

Go to Badges and click Create badge.

  2. 2

    Start from a template (optional)

Under Start from a ready-made badge, click one to fill in its text, icon and colours. You can change anything afterwards.

  3. 3

    Name it

Enter a Name (up to 40 characters). Only you see it; it identifies the badge in your list.

  4. 4

    Set the text and icon

Type the Badge text (up to 24 characters) and pick an Icon from the grid, or type your own emoji or symbol in Custom icon (up to 12 characters). A badge needs text, an icon, or both.

  5. 5

    Set colours, position and size

  6. 6

    Choose where it shows

Tick Show on product cards to also show a compact badge on collection, search, home page and recommendation cards.

The Storefront switch at the top turns the badge on or off everywhere, while keeping its setup.

  7. 7

    Save, then assign it

Click Save. A badge shows nowhere until it's assigned: see Assign a badge.

Tip

Keep badge text to one or two short words. Small swatches have little room, and a long badge covers the colour it's pointing at.

Troubleshooting

  • Add badge text or pick an icon: the badge needs at least one of them.
  • The badge is assigned to an option or value.
  • The Storefront switch is on, and the badge is Active in the list.
  • The option uses a style that shows badges: swatches, pills, polaroids or buttons, not a dropdown.
  • For product cards, Show on product cards is ticked.
