Where it applies
Where it applies decides which products and pages get swatches. Out of the box, that's every product. Use it to roll swatches out gradually or keep them off products where they don't belong.
The two settings on this page

| Product cards | Whether product cards show swatches at all, and on which pages. See Choose which pages show swatches. |
| Which products show swatches? | Coverage: All products, Only the products I choose, or All products except the ones I choose. It applies to product pages and product cards alike. |
Note
Products outside your coverage keep your theme's normal picker and normal product cards. Product groups follow the same coverage.
How coverage is applied
Coverage works by putting a tag on the products you choose, which your storefront reads. Tagging runs in the background after you save, and the Sync status card on this page shows its progress. See How coverage tags work.
