Variant swatches
Options is where you decide how each product option looks. Every option in your catalog gets one row, with its own style for the product page and its own style for product cards.

How the app finds your options
- Options come from your products. The app merges them by name and ignores capital letters: Color and color are one option, shared by every product that uses it.
- The same option in another language, such as Couleur, is a separate row with its own style.
- New options appear on their own within seconds of the product change in Shopify. See Keeping the catalog in sync.
Note
Because options are shared by name, the style you pick for Color applies to every product that has a Color option. To give some products a different look, use Style rules.
The Options table
| Column | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Option | The option name, how many values it has, and its status badges. |
| Product page | The style used on product pages. |
| Collection page | The style used on product cards, or Hidden to leave the option off cards. |
| Swatch image | Where image styles take their picture from. See Use the variant's own photo. |
| Edit | Opens the option's Values page, where you set colours and images. |
Changes on this page are held as a draft until you click Save in the save bar, so you can adjust several rows and publish them together.
Status badges
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Auto | You haven't saved a style for this option yet, so it uses the starting style the app gave it. |
| Ready | Every value has a colour or image, or the option's styles don't need one (for example buttons or a plain dropdown). |
| Missing | Some values have no colour or image yet. They show as an empty swatch with the value name. Click Edit to fix them. |
Starting styles
When the app first reads your catalog, it gives every option a starting style so swatches work straight away:
- Colour options (named Color, Colour or Màu) start on Variant image, showing each variant's own photo.
- Your most used colour option also appears on product cards, as small variant photos.
- Every other option shows as Buttons on the product page and is hidden on product cards.
Change any of these whenever you like. Once you save a style for an option, its Auto badge goes away and the app never changes it again on its own.
