Choose which pages show swatches
Card swatches can appear on four kinds of page. Show them everywhere, or only where they help, for example on collection pages but not on the home page.
Pick the pages

Open Where it applies
Go to Where it applies in the app menu. The Product cards card is at the top.

Turn on Show swatches on product cards
Untick it to turn card swatches off everywhere. Product pages aren't affected.

Tick the pages under Show on these pages
Page What it covers Collection pages The product grid on every collection page. Search results Products on your store's search results page. Home page Product cards in home page sections, such as a featured collection. Product pages (related products) The related products or recommendations row on product pages.

Save
Click Save in the save bar.
Important
Keep at least one page ticked while Show swatches on product cards is on. The app won't save an empty selection.
Related products need the product page block
Swatches in the related products row are drawn by the Color swatches block on your product template, not by the app embed.
Note
Card swatches follow your coverage too: products excluded in Which products show swatches? show no card swatches. See Where it applies.
Troubleshooting
- The Collection swatches app embed is on in your published theme.
- The page type is ticked, and you clicked Save.
- The option has a Collection page style in Options that isn't Hidden.
- For related products, the Color swatches block is on the product template.
If one particular home page section still shows no swatches, it may build its cards differently. See Swatches missing on the home page.
