Group appearance
The Appearance card of a group sets how its swatch row looks on product pages and on product cards, and where each swatch gets its colour or picture from.
Choose the styles

Pick a product page style
Open Product page style and choose a style. Only styles that suit a group row are offered.

Pick a product card style, or hide it
Open Product card style and choose a style, or Hidden to keep the group off product cards.

Check the preview
Switch the preview between Product page and Product cards to see both.

Save
Click Save.
Note
Styles are shared with the rest of the app. Editing a style in Styles updates every option and group using it.
Size, shape, spacing and the Compact +N or Scroll behaviour come from the style. Price settings don't apply to groups.
The label line above the row follows your shop-wide Option label line setting.
Swatch fill
When the chosen style draws a colour or a picture, pick where it comes from under Swatch fill:

Button styles show text only, so Swatch fill is hidden for them.
Tip
Product image (automatic) needs no upkeep: change a product's featured photo in Shopify and its swatch follows.
Turn a group off
Switch off Show on storefront and save. The group stays in the app but its swatches are hidden from shoppers until you switch it back on.
