Option label line
Above each option the app writes a label line, such as Color: Red. The selected value in it updates as shoppers choose. You set how it reads once, for the whole store.
Set the label line

Open Settings
Go to Settings and find Variant picker defaults.

Choose what the line shows
Under Option label line, pick one of four modes:
Mode Example Name & value Color: Red Value only Red Name only Color Hidden No line at all - 3
Pick a separator
With Name & value, choose the Separator between the name and the value from the Quick picks (
:,-,|,/,•) or type your own, up to 6 characters. - 4
Set the text
Set Label font size (10 to 24 px, 14 px to start), and choose Bold option name (on to start) and Bold selected value.

Save
Click Save.
Note
The setting is shop-wide: it applies to every option and every style on product pages, and to product group rows too.
Tip
If you hide the line, turn on Show the value name on hover in your swatch styles so shoppers can still see which colour they're choosing. See Tooltips and prices.
