Test a product
With several rules, it's easy to lose track of why a product looks the way it does. Test with a product shows the final style of every option for any product you pick.
Run a test

Open Style rules
The Test with a product card sits under your rules list. It appears once you have at least one rule.

Pick a product
Click Pick a product and choose one in Shopify's picker.

Read the result
A table lists every option with the style it resolves to on the Product page and on Cards.

Try another
Click Choose another product to test again, or Clear to close the result.
What the results mean
| Result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| A style name | That style is used, either from Options or from a rule. |
| Your default | No style is set for this option on that surface. |
| Hidden | The option is hidden on product cards. |
| Missing style | A rule points at a style that no longer exists. Edit the rule and choose another style. |
Note
The test uses your saved, active rules and the product's current tags. Right after saving a rule, wait for tagging to finish, then pick the product again.
