Virtual Try-On

Settings

Manage the server that delivers alert emails, add storefront CSS and find support. Start with the built-in sender unless you already have SMTP credentials for a sender you want to use.

Before changing delivery

You do not need to connect a server to use alerts. The app's built-in mailer is available when Use my own email server is off. Connecting your own server requires the SMTP host, port, username, password and an email address that the provider allows you to send from.

Keep your existing values somewhere you can recover them before replacing a working connection. A displayed saved password cannot be read back from the form. Use Replace only when you are ready to enter a new credential.

Save and verify a change

  1. 1

    Change one area

For SMTP, follow the Email delivery guide and run the connection check. For CSS, add one small rule so that you can identify its effect.

  2. 2

    Save the form

Use the save bar when it appears. The SMTP test actions also save their submitted server settings before attempting the test; a failed test does not restore the old settings.

  3. 3

    Check the actual result

For delivery, send a message to an inbox you control and inspect the sender and reply address. For CSS, refresh the storefront at desktop and mobile widths. A form that saved successfully is only the first part of this check.

When to contact support

Use the support option in the app or email support@vensa.app. Include the store address, the page or alert affected, what you changed and the visible error. For a theme issue, include the theme name and a product URL. For email, include the approximate send time and alert type. Do not send your SMTP password.
