Virtual Try-On

Price drop and low stock

These alerts use items shoppers already saved. Configure each threshold around the event you want to communicate, then test with a known saved price or inventory quantity.

Configure a price-drop alert

  1. 1

    Choose the comparison

In Alerts → Price drop, enable Send price-drop alerts. Under Minimum drop, choose Percentage (%) or Fixed amount. Enter the value in Threshold.

  2. 2

    Understand the baseline

The baseline is the price at the time that shopper saved the item. It is not the product's compare-at price. Two shoppers who saved at different prices can qualify at different times.

  3. 3

    Save and test a reduction

Save Alerts. Save a known variant on the storefront while its price is 100, then reduce that variant's current price. Inspect the matching entry in Alert log and the Price drop email.

Saved priceThresholdCurrent priceQualifies before other checks?
10010%95No: the reduction is only 5%.
10010%90Yes: the reduction reaches 10%.
8010%90No: it is above this shopper's saved price.
100Fixed amount 1585Yes, when the saved currency matches the store currency.

Currencies

Fixed amounts are in the store currency. Items saved with a different currency code skip that fixed-amount check. The app offers Percentage for broader coverage, but this guide does not imply currency conversion; test the Markets experience you use.

When enabled, percentage thresholds must be between 0 and 100. A zero threshold still requires the current price to be lower than the saved price. A price-drop alert for the same shopper and variant has a seven-day repeat window.

Configure low-stock reminders

  1. 1

    Enable Low stock deliberately

Open Alerts → Low stock and check Send low-stock alerts. The feature starts disabled. Enter a positive integer in When stock falls to; the starting value is 5.

  2. 2

    Set the reminder cap

Set Max reminders per shopper from 1 to 10. This cap applies to successful low-stock deliveries for that shopper and variant; it is not a count of emails to send on every inventory update.

  3. 3

    Test positive low stock

Save the intended variant, ensure the shopper has an eligible email and change tracked stock to a positive quantity at or below the threshold. With a threshold of 3, quantities 3, 2 and 1 can qualify; 0 does not.

The item needs a saved-price baseline and a lower current price. The app needs a known positive quantity at or below the threshold.
Check the threshold and seven-day repeat window.Check the per-shopper, per-variant reminder cap.
A fixed-amount check skips a different saved currency.A newly saved item may need time for inventory tracking to be linked.

Both flows need a matching saved item and an eligible address. Multi-variant product-level saves are not safely attributable to a particular size or colour; use the product page to save a selected variant for the test.
