Branding and sender details
The Branding card supplies one visual identity for all four email templates. Save these settings before testing so the inbox version uses the same logo, colours and sender details you reviewed.
Add a logo
- 1
Upload the file
In Email → Branding → Logo, click the upload area or drop a PNG, JPEG or SVG up to 2 MB. Wait for the upload to finish before saving. The app stores the uploaded image on Shopify's CDN.
- 2
Size and align it
Set Logo width from 60–400 px, choose Left, Center or Right under Logo alignment, and set Space below logo from 0–60 px. Start near the default width of 160 px and inspect whether the logo is readable without overwhelming the heading.
- 3
Replace or remove
Click or drop another file into the same area to replace the logo. Use Remove logo to clear it. Save the final state so future emails and tests use it.
Match the email style
| Field | What it affects | Check in the preview |
|---|---|---|
| Button color | Main action background. | Button text remains readable. |
| Background | Outer email background. | The message card still stands out. |
| Heading color / Text color | Message heading and body. | Both have clear contrast on the content surface. |
| Button corners | Sharp, Rounded or Pill. | The style matches the rest of your brand. |
| Text alignment | Left or Centered. | Longer messages remain easy to read. |
| Content padding | 12–60 px around the main content. | The text does not become cramped on a narrow email. |
| Show product image | Includes an item image where available. | The email still makes sense if an item has no image. |
Set the inbox name and footer
- 1
Enter Sender name
This is the display name a shopper sees in the inbox, for example your store name. It can contain up to 78 characters. It is not the sender's email address or domain.
- 2
Enter Business name
This name is printed in the footer. It can differ from the inbox display name and accepts up to 80 characters.
- 3
Review Business address
The app can use your Shopify store details as a starting value. Review the address rather than assuming the detected value is the one you intend to publish. The field accepts up to 200 characters.
- 4
Save, then send a sample
Click Save, then use Send test → Send to → Send test email. The template test loads saved branding; unsaved logo and colour edits in the preview are not enough.
Sender address is configured elsewhere
The built-in sender uses the app's mail route. Settings → Email delivery → Send alerts from applies when using your own SMTP server. Changing Sender name here does not change the sending domain.
If the preview and inbox differ
- Branding was saved after the latest logo or colour edit.
- You opened the newest test message rather than a previous test with the same subject.
- The recipient's email client is allowed to display remote images.
- You inspected both a narrow inbox view and a desktop view.
