Email capture
Email capture asks visitors for an email address after a chosen number of try-ons. Set it up in Try-On → Designs → Email capture and review collected addresses in Emails.
Set up the email prompt
- 1
Enable email capture
Turn on Enable email capture in the Email capture card.
- 2
Set the threshold
Set Require email after to a number of at least 1. With 2, a visitor can complete two try-ons before the email prompt is needed to continue.
- 3
Write the prompt
Edit the capture title, subtitle and Submit button text. The submit label is required when capture is enabled.
- 4
Choose the consent checkbox
Use Require marketing consent checkbox if you want the checkbox to be required. Set Consent checkbox text when this option is enabled.
- 5
Save and test
Save the settings, then test from a browser profile that has not already supplied an email. After submitting, open Emails and check the address and consent value.
Understand the visitor counter
The prompt uses a count and saved email stored in the visitor's browser for this store. It is not a storewide total and does not synchronize across devices. A visitor whose email is already stored may not see the prompt again. Clearing browser storage changes this local state.
Free tries before capture still use store usage
The email threshold means tries before the visitor is asked for an address. Those generations still count toward your store's included allowance or paid additional usage. Submitting an email does not bypass weekly or store usage limits.
What is recorded
The list records the address, marketing-consent flag, product context, source and date. Reusing an address updates its existing store record rather than creating one row for every submission. The consent flag is available for filtering and export.
