Limits and image retention

The Settings tab inside Try-On contains per-user generation limits and image-retention options. Store allowance and paid usage are managed separately in Billing.

Understand the three controls

Control	Where	What it affects
Store allowance and spending limit	Billing	How many generations the store can serve during the usage cycle.
Max weekly generations per user	Try-On → Settings	A visitor's usage over the preceding seven days.
Customer Image Retention	Try-On → Settings	The configured expiry period for uploaded and generated images; see the Shopify limitation below.

Change the controls

Open Try-On → Settings, edit the setting and click Save. A weekly value of 0 means unlimited at that per-user level; it does not remove the store's plan or spending limit.

Shopify image-retention limitation

The editor offers 1, 3 and 7 days, but the current Shopify storefront generation path uses the default one-day retention. Do not rely on a 3- or 7-day selection keeping a Shopify result available longer. See Image retention and saved results.
