Customer visibility
Use Try-On → Visibility → Customer Visibility to choose who sees the try-on button. Audience rules apply in addition to your product selections.
Choose an audience
| Show Try-On button to | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| Everyone | Guests and signed-in customers. |
| Logged-in customers only | Customers signed into a storefront account. |
| Guests only (not logged in) | Visitors without a signed-in customer session. |
| Customers in specific segments | Signed-in customers who pass the selected segment membership check. |
| Guests + specific segments | Guests, plus signed-in customers who pass the selected segment membership check. |
Save and test
- 1
Choose a visibility mode
Open Try-On → Visibility and select the desired audience.
- 2
Choose segments if required
For either segment mode, select at least one segment under Allow access to customers in.
- 3
Save and test the correct session
Click Save. Test a guest session and a signed-in customer session as appropriate. Being signed into Shopify admin does not itself mean you are signed into a storefront customer account.
Product coverage still applies
A visitor may match the audience but see no button on a product outside your selections. The theme embed and available store usage are also required.
