Processing and error messages

Use the Processing step and Error messages cards in Try-On → Designs to explain what is happening while a result is being generated and what to do when it fails.

Customize processing

  1. 1

    Write the heading and status

Edit Processing heading and Processing status text. Leave the default status text empty if you want to hide that optional text.

  2. 2

    Choose progress and tips

Toggle Show progress bar and Show AI tips during processing. Use Add tip and Remove tip to maintain the list; enabled tips must have text.

  3. 3

    Review the preview

Open the Processing preview and check text length on mobile. Save the changes before testing on the storefront.

Keep timing realistic

The progress display helps shoppers follow processing. It is not a promise that a result will finish at a particular second. A preview inside the editor does not test generation speed.

Write useful error text

Set Error message and Error retry button text to give shoppers a clear next action. Some upload, quota and service failures display a specific runtime message, so this card does not replace every possible error.

If processing fails repeatedly

  • Try a supported image under 10 MB.
  • Check remaining store allowance and the shopper's weekly limit.
  • Use a different, clear person photo if the photo cannot be processed.
  • Contact support with the product URL, approximate time and visible error if the issue persists.
