Replace the product image
The Replace product image with try-on result setting displays a successful result in the main product photo area for that shopper. It is a storefront display change, not a new image uploaded to your Shopify catalog.
Enable image replacement

Open Result & Cart
Go to Try-On → Designs → Result & Cart.

Enable replacement
Turn on Replace product image with try-on result. Leave Product image selector empty to use automatic detection first.

Save and generate a result
Save, open a product and complete a try-on. Check that the main image displays the result without disturbing your gallery layout.
Use a custom image selector
If the result changes the wrong image or none at all, set Product image selector to the intended main image element. This is separate from the selector used to position the button. The Contact us link in the card opens setup assistance.
Check theme interactions
- The main image is replaced, not a thumbnail or related-product image.
- The product gallery remains usable on desktop and mobile.
- Variant selection still updates the product correctly.
- A refreshed page and a newly generated result behave as expected.
To stop replacement, turn the setting off and save, then refresh the product page. The feature does not overwrite the product's media in Shopify admin.
